When we started MTDXB, our ambition was to be Dubai's first Community Theatre group to stage a full-scale musical and 'The Addams Family' was bigger than anything we'd done before, in every way. A production of professional standards, with a cast of over 50 performers, a stunning, professionally built set, a superb live band and a seasoned production team resulted in another sell-out run of shows from 1-3 June 2023 at Sunmarke School.
Our friends at KPS Interior Design and Fit-Out generously designed and built our amazing set for 'The Addams Family', and to say 'thanks' we staged a special premiere performance for their employees and families!

The show wouldn't have been half as impactful without our Ancestors and Dancestors, rounding out our cast of over 50 talented singers, actors and dancers.
To stage a production of this scale, MTDXB recruited an experienced Production Team who lived, breathed and sweated over our first full-scale musical production for months on end!
To ensure The Addams Family was a roaring success, our creative team produced a plethora of marketing activities for the show, including this fun example which imitated a popular campaign that was running in parallel, for The Barbie Movie.

As MTDXB's reputation grew, so did the number of performers signing up to audition for our casting panel. Over 80 auditionees impressed the panel, and whittling them down to a cast of over 50 was no easy task!
